Upgrade hcl me g1 to jelly bean 4.1 simplest method


hcl me g1 is the tablet with high end hardware but without jellybean it looks outdated.
now come on upgrade it to jellybean 4.1
what you need to have:
1> usb data cable
2> computer
3> rkbatch tool click here to download
4>rockchip drivers installer click here to download
4> firmware i.e. rom jelly bean 4.1 click here to download
follow this steps:

important:i)keep your tablet files backed up since you will loose everything after upgrading.
                 ii)charge tablet at least 20%


follow this steps:
1]install drivers with rockchip drivers installer RK_DriverAssitant, to do so click on driverinstall.exe, be patience it takes around 2 minutes. click on install when it asks.
2]download jelly bean 4.1 from hcl link given above.
3]extract rkbatch tool to desktop and open it.
4]switch off your tablet
5]keep volume up button pressed, now connect tablet to computer with usb cable.
6]you should see device 1 connected with green symbol in rkbatch tool, now you can relese volume up button.[if you dont see green symbol then either you have not installed driver or some connection issues are there e.g.. usb cable is faulty]. try switching off tab and follow that button press and connect.
7]select .iso file of jelly bean 4.1 you had downloaded and click on upgrade.
8]done!!!!!! wait for it to finish 100% and to restart.

how to root hcl me tablets

No one knows how to simply root hcl me tablet. here i gives a simple solution.
this solution is suitable for all hcl tablets.

steps To be followed:
1) we will require the original  data cable provided by hcl.
2) now turn on usb debugging from your device. (to do so goto settings>developer options>usb debugging)
3) now connect your tablet to your computer with original data cable.
4)now download unlock root from here unlock root.exe
5)you will see two options root and unroot.
6)if you have tried rooting your device with any other method click on unroot first.
7)now after tablet reboot click on root.
note this method will surely work just keep on trying root and unroot one by one.
